 I’m fascinated by boats - their structure, their lines and their history. The doors on this bookcase remind me of the crosslapped grates found on hatches and decks to allow light and air to pass through yet protect the space within.  I like the way the shadows interact. Cherry, again, with ebonized maple for the base.
