 Tom spent 27 years in the publishing field – as a graphic designer, creative manager and internet director – before deciding to focus on designing and building furniture.
The pieces featured within this website are personal projects created over the last seven years. They formed the basis of Tom’s portfolio when he applied for admission to the Cabinet and Furniture Making program at Boston’s North Bennet Street School. He began full-time study  there in the fall of 2005.
When he’s not building something, he is an avid consumer of newspapers and magazines, an average sailor and a terrible bluegrass guitar player.
